MISATO (6) progressed nicely last start when facing the starter for only the second time, taking over at the top of the straight then pulling clear at the end of 7f at the Sunshine Coast. Doesn't face the strongest Saturday field so that form should stand up. BULL RAYNER (2) has found the line with purpose and not been beaten far in his two runs to date, the latest over 6 ¾f at Doomben. Like the blinkers going on and the switch to Eagle Farm. Great chance to open the account. HIGH AUTHORITY (1) collected his maiden first-up at the Gold Coast then battled on evenly at Doomben recently, beaten under two lengths over 6 ¾f. Very fit and gets all the favours from a nice draw. RAGING RAIDER (7) caught the eye in the dying stages over 6f at the Sunshine Coast when returning from a brief spell last start, beaten in the three-way go after conceding a good start on the bend. Hard to hold out over today's trip. VANZADEE (3) is in the mix coming back in class off a seven-week let-up.
