Strong race. PUFFIN (13) smashed the clock when leading throughout to score a slick 5 len win over 5f at this track in 55.93 seconds. Clearly returned well and looks up to this stronger race from the sticky gate. ZOUFIELD (9) resumes and undefeated in his two first up runs. Raced without luck in town last time in and placed in a recent trial over 4 ½f at Canberra. Top three contender. SUPER INFINITY (8) kept fresh for this after he sprouted wings first up to get the job done over 5 ?f at Canberra Acton. Kept up to the mark with a 5f trial and drawn to play a leading role. MANOORA (12) big run in Highway grade two back, then sat on the speed for a gritty victory over 6f at Mudgee. Worth including on the home track.
