BACKHANDER (4) coming along slowly and ready for this trip fifth up. Stalked the speed with a fighting second to Gemtiki over 1 ¹/16m at Muswellbrook. Only has to hold that from to go close today. FARRAIGE (3) racing well and handled the rise in trip with a narrow second over 1 ?m at Bowraville. Doesn't know how to run a bad race and shapes as a major player again. GODWITS (2) failed to handle the two-day backup with a battling seventh over 1 ?m at this track. Gets weight relief with the claim and don't dismiss. QUESTIONABLE (5) relished the jump in trip with a comfortable win over this track and trip fourth up. Well drawn and stays in the calculations. BILL PEYTO (10) has an okay record here and gets in light with Johnston's claim. Place best.
