GRINZINGER CHAMP (1) has thrived since arriving in the Jack Bruce stable. Hit the line with gusto and wasn't beaten far first-up in a strong race at Eagle Farm won by Sword Of Legacy. Appreciated the drop in grade when a barnstorming winner here at this distance last start. Doubt this is a difficult so despite the big weight she can score again. BEREZKA (13) returned from a brief spell with an eye-catching second last time out over today's trip at Eagle Farm. Takes on a better field this time but has placed three from four second-up and seven of ten at this distance. Big chance from a nice gate. SPIRIT OF BARTY (10) raced handy but had no match for Grinzinger Champ here recently. Meets her 5kgs better for a 1.2 length defeat so there might not be a lot in it. EXUBERANCE (6) did a reasonable job when fresh at the Gold Coast over 5f last start. Has a fine 6f record so a better run is on the cards. HEY DAISY (2) is going well in easier races and cannot be ruled out.
