CORMAC T (2) was in the market last start over 1 ½m at Rosehill but struggled at the end of that journey on a heavy surface. Placed at all three tries over today's trip. Back in grade and looks a big chance in a far more compatible race. SAN GABRIEL (6) doesn't win too often but did well last start to close his race off and beat all but Benzino over 1 ¼m here. Capable of turning that result around over a longer trip with a 2.5kgs swing in the weights. STRANGLEHOLD (1) won two on the bounce then produced an even effort in the Benzino race here a fortnight ago. New to this trip but is lightly raced and looks up to the challenge. FIOPROSPERO (5) looked a chance in the lane but didn't finish his race off as hoped over this trip at Eagle Farm last Saturday. Should be thereabouts again but he has forgotten how to win. BENZINO (4) beat some of today's key rivals here last start and although up in the weights is a strong contender again.
