PARTY DAY (2) led over the sharper trip fresh and was there until late before being run down. Fitter and goes well second-up. Best form is here and off a strong return should go close again. DISSALTO (4) is a Victorian galloper having first start this circuit but has had plenty of experience on the Pakenham synthetic. Has brilliant early speed and expected to take catching. Hard to beat on best figures. PACIFIC WITNESS (5) has the blinkers added and tough to beat if near her best. GEEGEES MERCEDES (3) finished just ahead of Party Day last time. Close to a win and drawn to feature. EQUIVASTER (1) was off the mark last time with a maiden win and can feature in the finish again.
