ASVA (1) went close here over a mile in Open grade second-up and drops back to a sprint briefly freshened. Has the inside barrier and the 7lbs claim brings him right into it. THE SPIRIT OF ZERO (5) came from last beaten 1L at Hobart first-up. He's proven second up and he's won here over the trip. Fitter and has claims. FIGHTING FLOYD (4) spiked his numbers beaten 1L at Hobart. Hasn't placed here in 4 outings but on the latest effort he may be worth another chance.
