MARINE GIRL (7) stepped up in trip to 5f last time at Moruya and wasn't disgraced, finishing only 0.7 lengths away in fifth. Coming back in trip suits and should be hitting the line with gusto. Expected to be in the finish. BLUE AKOYA (4) is back after a break of five-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5f at Seymour. Now under the care of new trainer B Joseph & P & M Jones and comes here with definite top-three claims. BARGINO (9) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 6 lengths when seventh in a 5f contest at this track two weeks ago. Rock-hard fit now and there is no reason why he cannot find winning ways. STARLIGHT GIRL (3) finished 4.5 lengths away in ninth last start over 5f at Queanbeyan in a fair performance. Gets 4lbs weight relief with the claim and deserves another chance.
