DALLAS DUKE (6) good type who closed strongly on debut with an encouraging third over 5f at Wyong in a Super Maiden. Further improved now in this much weaker contest. Hard to hold out. GREYT REMLAP (8) resumed for his second prep with a strong on-pace second over 5f at Scone on the soft (7) surface. Has further upside with the blinkers going on. Shapes as the main danger. GOODONYA AUSBRED (1) first two runs had merit on the heavy tracks, then jumped in trip with a plugging eighth over 7f at Grafton. Blinkers come off and the winkers go on in this more suitable race. OPINE (5) drops in grade and is having his first start for the Samantha McGuren yard. Failed to back up when a plugging sixth over 6 ¾f at Wyong. Cross-over nose band and the tongue-tie go on. Improver in this region.
