ETON (12) demolished his maiden rivals first-up in a terrific training performance off a 576-day spell. There's always a slight concern second-up after such a long layoff, but from the favourable draw he looks hard to resist with any natural improvement. QUEEN'S RHAPSODY (13) has finished off strongly in both runs this prep and appears to be nearing peak fitness. The wide draw means she'll likely settle back again, but a genuine tempo would bring her right into the race late. METAPHORICALLY (1) resumes with a strong record over this track and distance. He was dominant winning in this grade two starts before the spell and has trialled well in preparation for his return. The 4lbs claim helps and a bold showing is expected. CONCORDIA WIND (7) also resumes and boasts peaks that measure right up. Has been readied with two quiet trials and the booking of McDonald demands respect.
