Verdict

Open affair. MOTHER GOOSE (8) found the lead a fair way from home and tried hard but found one better when resuming over this trip at Wyong last start. Has come back in fine shape under new trainer Gary Portelli and should give backers a great sight. Honest mare TEQUILA BABY (3) returned from a seven-month spell with a close second over 5f at Kembla last time out. Needs a shrewd ride from Nock out of the wide gate but she can muster early doors. Untried in town but looks up to the task. MASTER OF DISGUISE (1) was a month between runs when she led but just failed to hang on in open company at Albury recently. Strips fitter and will find this easier so keep her in mind. New O'Shea/Charlton acquisition BOOMING BIANCA (4) returns from a five-month spell. Has raced first-up twice for two wins. Two recent trials will have her ready to run well. INDEFENSIBLE (9) last raced 21 weeks ago. Will be better for this outing but the stable is flying so keep her safe.
