MISS SCANDAL (6) was thrown into the deep end on debut in the G3 Widden Stakes at Rosehill, where she finished down the track as favourite. She appears to have come on well during the break and gets a key booking with McDonald from the inside draw. Expecting a much brighter return. CELESTIAL CHARM (1) is a well-bred daughter of Extreme Choice out of stakes-winner I Am A Star on debut. She's trialled nicely with Berry aboard in her past two hit-outs and shapes as a serious threat. EXTREMELY CHIC (3) is another Extreme Choice filly on debut that has also shown positive signs at the trials. She draws well for Rawiller and is expected to make her presence felt. GIRL ABOUT TOWN (9) failed to fire on debut in a strong form race but has since returned to the trials and looked much sharper. Wary of significant improvement.
