SHE'S SPEEDY (4) switched from a Victorian yard and turned in a fine effort to score by half a length this course/distance in Maiden grade. She was heavily backed and has more up her sleeve. Wiggins stays aboard, and from a handy barrier she can take the next step. COPPABELLA ROAD (1) missed by a whisker in a CL3 at Townsville before disappointing this track/trip as a well-supported favourite. Has the blinkers on again and has the early speed to clear the outside gate. Will need a touch of luck, but he can get back on track. TALK DIRTY (5) resumed here over this distance in a 55, and it was a decent effort. Races forward and fitter, he can get some of the money. AIRBORNE HOTDOG (8) is third up and wasn't too far away last time in the CR race. Has to cross from a wide gate, but he's a trifecta hope if that works out.
