Drops 3kgs today in a sub-standard open handicap. Big chance to go back-to-back. PEROVIC (5) settled well back and was no match for John Joseph when they clashed at Townsville recently. The winner of three from six at Cairns so the change in venue might see that gap close a little. KUREDER (1) has failed to land a blow in two runs this prep.
