FANCY GARTER (5) recorded her third minor placing from the last four runs when she came from a seemingly hopeless position to be beaten a whisker over 6f at Townsville last start. In the money at both runs at Cairns. It has been a while between drinks but she looks ideally placed to break the drought. SECRET CYPHER (4) returned to the winner's list with a comprehensive victory in a BM50 over 6f at Oak Park last time out. Meets a deeper field this time but he will be tough to beat with the confidence up. HOT PURSUIT (1) appreciated the drop in grade when a narrow winner over 6f at Ingham recently. Goring's claim helps his cause. Should be about the money again. BETTER BREAKOUT (3) is hitting the line with purpose this prep. Suited by the small field - watch for him in the dying stages. LOOMING ONE (6) is yet to miss the top three in four tries over today's course and distance. Racing well and should be thereabouts again.
