SANDFIRE ROSE (7) will be peaking for this, and she put in a strong performance last start in just her second run this campaign, finishing a head away in second over 1 m here after leading for most of the race along the rails. She slides down in class and can go one better. FIRE THE LOT (2) has been very consistent this prep, and notched another minor placing last time out when finishing second over 7 ½f at Ascot 11 days ago. Chris Parnham sticks with him, and so do we. GLANCED (6) ran on late and finished fifth in town at Ascot last start, beaten by 2 lengths. She can settle closer to the pace early on from a superior draw, and is expected to bounce straight back into the money here. FLINDERS LANE (5) followed up a nice second at Belmont Park in her penultimate start with a convincing 2-length win there over 1 m three-and-a-half weeks ago. She won't find this much harder and can hold her form. SHAZAIR (4) should be at peak fitness now after a solid second at Pinjarra last start.
