Verdict

Granted most are improving but DANCE ON SON (1) has a bit on those to have raced in terms of figures. Runner-up on debut then tackled tougher company at Ascot and not disgraced before going out for another spell. Has trialled well for return and expected to go close. Biggest danger of the raced brigade looks to be MAUREEN'S ANGEL (6) who drew off the track on debut and went forward. Boxed on well for second and can only be improved. Drawn a shade better and can give a sight again. SPARTAN LASS (5) is another who drew wide last time, went forward and fought on well for second. Take catching again. UNIVERSAL DUKE (3) was in the market on debut at Belmont and wasn't disgraced. Looks capable of a bold return. AMERICAN IMAGE (9) is a three-year-old filly making her debut by American Pharoah out of Ideal Image. Was second in a Lark Hill trial over 5 ¼f on June 2. Aided by a nice alley so can be competitive with the gun hoop aboard.
