Verdict

ZOUCONI (7) got the job done over this trip at Northam last start to return to winning ways and put in a good figure in doing so. Pike remains in the saddle now and the form has already been franked. She's a track and trip winner in the past and she can go on with the job. ALLENTOWN (2) disappointed last start when getting a long way back and never really got into the race. Up in trip suits and so does the map, as he's expected to sit much closer from the draw this time. Can bounce back. STRAPPING PROPHET (6) bolted in last start at Northam, scoring by 2.7L after putting the writing on the wall on debut. He looks as though he'll make the grade with his upside and it wouldn't surprise to see him go back-to-back. TIMELESS GEM (1) was too good first-up when leading throughout to score. Fitter and further are both big ticks and he can put his best foot forward again. NAUGHTY TORTIE (5) will find this harder but it's hard to ignore what he did last start.
