MR KAPLAN (7) is a classy filly back after a six-month spell. Started at $2.45 and finished runner-up on debut over this trip at Ascot before failing in the Group 3 Gimcrack at her only other appearance. Nicely placed to open this campaign in the best possible way. AURA MAGNA (5) is starting to hit her straps with a couple of close seconds over 6f recently. Races handy so coming back to 5f should not pose a problem. Sure to give a great sight. ANDALADY (10) is the query runner on debut. Three trials have yielded three wins so she is clearly talented. Early markets are very bullish about her prospects. SPLINTABELLE (9) started favourite but found a couple better on debut recently over 5 ½f at Northam. Likely improver with definite claims. The speedy DIVINE MIRAGE (6) returns from a six-month break. Beaten just a length over 6f here to launch the maiden campaign. Should be prominent for a long way.
