Verdict

AWESOME BOY (6) crossed from a wide draw last start and was too strong from the front, scoring an all-the-way win. He can do so again from a wide draw this time around and he put up a very strong figure last time out. Just has to run up to that level again to be winning again. SUPERSESSION (3) bumped into one better a fortnight ago when 2.1L off the winner when back to 6f. Up to 7f again now and a wide draw may see him back in the run, but he's ticking along nicely and can't be left out of calculations on his recent form. OLYMPIC PARK (8) is first-up for 483 days today, ending his last campaign in disappointing fashion when pulling up with an issue. He was a very exciting 3YO before the break and while this looks a kick-off point, he's too good to not include. EARTHSTORM (5) is racing well and won't be far away. LAVALIER (2) is a stayer resuming who showed some promise in his last campaign. Keeping an eye on him first-up.
