CHAMPAGNE CRUSADER (2) flew home in the Magic Millions 3YO last time out as a 200-1 pop, being just 2.2L off the winner. This maps beautifully for him from a good gate. Back to a CL3 today third-up, this presents as a suitable race off his last start effort. SILENT ALERT (9) creates plenty of interest here first-up without a trial. The booking of Pike is a big push for his chances first-up and the wide draw doesn't matter as he tends to get back anyway. Watch for him late in the race. HOYA DESTROYER (4) ended last campaign in good fashion with a maiden win over 7f at Northam. His trial coming in was solid and the Blinkers go on, with the Norton Bit coming off showing he's a more mature commodity this time in. Can pick up from where he left off. PRECIOUS GOD (10) flew home to be 1.8L off the winner last time out and can play a leading role second-up. SHOW THE WAY (8) draws better here back in grade and he won't be far away.
