Verdict

ELITE BEAU (8) is first-up today after tackling the Placid Ark Prelude before the break where he jumped the race favourite. He's unbeaten fresh and his recent trials coming in suggest he's ready to fire a shot. Will need a touch of luck from the draw, but Pike rides and he can return with a bang. SLIP THE JAB (11) is better than he showed last time out when getting well back in an Open 3YO race last time out and never threatening. A better draw this time around suits and CJP remains in the saddle. Can bounce back to his best form today. HEZANGELIC (1) got the job done in a photo finish last time out and we'll get a guide on that form in the race prior to this. The inside draw should see him up on the speed and with Nottle on board, he can bring up the hat-trick. NICCIMOTA (3) just missed last time out when fading late but draws better this time around. Can give them something to catch. MAIN ACT (9) comes back to 5f today and can put his best foot forward.
