SHAMILIAN MISS (3) just missed fresh before a 1L defeat last time out over 6 ½f at this track. Now out to the mile which looks ideal, though the barrier is a niggle. Looks to be building nicely however and she looks ready to return to winning ways third-up into the campaign. OISIN (1) is third-up today and should be better for her run over 1 m at Bunbury 10 days ago. He boasts some strong ratings over this trip from last campaign and the inside draw should see him handy in the run. Can return to winning ways. PONY UP (12) took on the Champion Fillies last time out and was just outclassed there. Her runs prior was sound and remaining at the mile seems a good move. Should land in a good position and can bounce back to her best. KAZANA (11) won on debut before tackling Listed and G3 races her past couple. Right back in grade today and can return to form. FLINDERS LANE (9) wasn't far away last time out, but Pike sticks and she's sure to be thereabouts again.

A pari-mutuel pool – typically a show pool - where one horse is so heavily bet that after deductions there is not enough money left to cover the prescribed minimum on each bet.
