BOURBONONTHEROCKS (7) is on the cusp of a maiden win after going under by a head at Ascot as a well-supported favourite last start. He has already handled 7f and brings the strongest exposed maiden form, with the Northam debut also tying in well through Frosted Warrior. FROSTED WARRIOR (6) has genuine claims after a Bunbury third in Mdn grade where interference near the 1f added merit to the run, and he should be ready to produce again third-up. Parnham rides now and he looks to be trending the right way. RAKITIN (8) was never likely in the Simmonds and this shapes as a much different assignment to anything he's faced. Out in trip, blinkers on and an opportunity to improve sharply. WALLENBERG (2) resumes after over a year off, but two trials since racing, the latest a second at Belmont Park, give him a solid platform. His VIC form reads well for this. DIAMOND CHOUX (4) can bounce back despite a disappointing run last time.
