Verdict

GENTLE TOUCH (12) got a long way back on debut but finished off impressively to just miss at this track and trip. She now gets Pike in the saddle from a better draw, and she showed enough talent to suggest she won't be a maiden for too long. Can sit closer this time and she can get the job done. RIFLEMAN (7) is on debut for the Dan Morton stable and is a half-brother to the G2 placegetter Blue Rocket. Fiore hasn't been on board for the trials but his latest trial was very impressive and he looks a talented type. FORCE FIELD (2) finished off well to miss by 0.2L on debut, beaten Gentle Touch in the process. The wide draw is the query, but if Parnham gets some luck in the run, he'll be right there at the finish. STRUT YOUR STUFF (4) was only fair on debut but his latest trial behind Rifleman was sound. Can feature. LUNAR SPARK (9) is better than she showed last start and this presents as a better scenario for her.
