Verdict

BAKEEL (7) is racing well without winning, missing by 0.5L over further last time out. Back to 7f today is a big tick for him and CJP hops in the saddle. Can put himself into the race and if he can run up to his latest effort, he'll be very hard to beat. SNIPPY WHICH (16) got the job done in an easier race last time out and steps right up in grade today. He does love this trip however and will carry no weight with the claim of Riordan on board. Can play a leading role. WUBIN GOLD (11) was strong fresh over 6f and boasts an impressive second-up record of 4 wins from 5 second-up outings. The inside draw may be an issue, but if the gaps come on straightening then she'll be right in the finish. DRAKAINA (9) missed narrowly on resumption but that sets her up nicely for the campaign. Pike sticks and she's won 2/4 second-up. Can go one better. COOL MEMORY (1) has trialled very strongly coming in, though the barrier is the query.
