CONCHETTA'S DREAM (10) flew late first-up over 6f when the race favourite, missing out by 1.1L. Pike remains in the saddle second-up and the rise in distance looks ideal. May get back in the run again but with improvement likely today, she looks the one to beat. RANYX (1) was knocking on the door of a victory at the end of last campaign and his two trials coming into this have been solid. Some sting out of the ground should suit and with a good draw on offer, he can resume a winner. SOSO LUCKY (2) was solid off a long break but disappointed last time out. Third-up now, drawn well and Chris Parnham hops on board. Can bounce back to her best form now. TALKAWAY (9) is ticking along nicely this campaign and now gets some sting out of the ground. Can put her best foot forward. NINE BALL (6) finished off strongly fresh and the inside draw suits this time. Can improve second-up.
