SPICY THANG (13) came in off a freshen last start and was too good from the front, finishing 2.2L clear in her first run for the new stable. She did so from a wide draw and should get a better time of it today from the inside. Looks well placed on the back of her latest performance and she can get the job done again. BRAZEN BUTCHER (14) trialled well coming into his return where he scored by 2.4L over 5f. Up in trip now should suit and things look to set up nicely for him once again. Drops a stack of weight here and will be tough to mow down. DAYTONA PETE (10) has been freshened and back to the trials since finishing 2L away in a CL3 at his last start. McGruddy reunites with him here and was on board for his latest trial. Needs a touch of luck but is good enough if he can get back to his best. HEDAWOOD (7) gets CJP on board now and can't be discounted despite the wide alley. GI GI POPS (9) won't be far away.
