Thinking the 3YOs are the ones to beat in this, even though they're giving weight to their older rivals. SAAM TIME LUCKY (1) has been a bridesmaid in recent efforts in Saturday company, though he's bumped into a few smart ones in the process. Back to the midweeks now and he'll be prominent from a good gate. Can land the knockout blow this time. FRIAR'S LEGACY (2) just missed two back before a solid performance when out to 7f at Northam last time out, jumping favourite in his last two. CJP takes the ride now as he stretches to the mile for the first time. Can see him dictating the speed and proving tough to run down. GINGER AND TONIC (3) won well fresh over 7f and the mile looks a good move for her second-up. Gets all the favours from an inside alley and can make her presence felt again. FLINDERS LANE (6) gets Pike in the saddle now and has to be included with improvement on the cards. RAZMAS (5) should appreciate the extra journey today and is not to be discounted.
