AU - Belmont Park - Race 1

HOT AND HIGH (6) bolted in on debut at Northam when sitting close to the speed, running away to win by 2.2L in impressive fashion. The splits she ran late were very strong and that suggests the rise in trip is no issue. May need some luck from the draw but if she can run up to what she did on debut, she'll take beating. INTOXICATING (7) sat out the back in a small field but let rip in the straight, mowing down her rivals to win by 1.5L at Belmont last time out. Loses Pike, but gets CJP today from a good draw and with improvement expected third-up, she can make her presence felt once again. LONG SERVICE LEAF (1) dropped back to 5f last start and got the job done when rallying from the back of the pack. Back out to 6f now where he wasn't beaten far two back and he looks a progressive type on the rise. PYGMALION (2) gets the blinkers on first time today and is sure to be doing his best work late. CALL ME INVINCIBLE (5) bumped into a good one first-up and has claims.
