Will appreciate Newman's 4lbs claim and take catching here. STUBBORN EMMELIE (7) slow into stride first up and struck trouble in the run with an even seventh over 5 ½f at Canterbury. Well drawn again and can find the winners' list if she mends her manners. LADY OF THE CASTLE (4) rewarded for her consistency third up with a game Maiden win over 6f at Newcastle. Can keep the winning momentum going from the good gate. CANAL (1) progressive type who opened this prep with a decisive win, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 6f at Port Macquarie. Can go on with it.
