RUSTEMO (8) continued his frustrating run of minor placings last start, chasing hard but unable to match a short-priced favourite over 6 ¾f at Wyong. Freshened up and draws the fence so he should race handy and prove tough to hold out. Plenty of unraced runners line up, with the pick of them being FIREY TRUTH (3) from the Kris Lees stable. Early trial form was poor but the latest after a gelding procedure was far better. One to monitor closely in the betting. FUNSHOW (4) is a debutant from the Nathan Doyle yard. Two recent trials at Gosford have been impressive. Looks to have his share of talent. BOBBY (2) got going late at Scone last start and will appreciate the extra 1f this afternoon. I Am Invincible gelding VALERO (9) is another first starter from the Nathan Doyle yard. Respect any positive market moves.
