LATEST FLAME (11) kept safe in betting on debut when a respectable on-speed third over 5 ½f at Hawkesbury in a fast run contest. Schofield sticks from the low gate and another big run is anticipated. PRIVATE LIAISON (12) did a fair job on debut after being held up slightly in the straight when fifth over 6f at Canterbury. Has further upside with the drop in weight from the inside gate. Top three contender. IN CIRCLES (3) first up for her second prep she held her ground to the line when third over 5 ½f at Gosford in the small field. Has the speed to get over from the sticky gate. Each way. MONTRESOR (7) three-year-old gelding on debut. Has trialled well enough heading into this. Stable has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Worth a market watch.
