WATER LAD (3) is ready to win after he just missed last time, beaten a neck into second over 6 ¾f at Warwick. Knocking on the door after three consecutive runner-up finishes. Gets some weight off from the low draw and has to be included in calculations. SECRET ROSE (7) got the prize two runs ago at Gold Coast Poly. Safely held last time out when tenth over 7f at Gold Coast, beaten 8 lengths. Suitably placed in this contest so anticipating a better run this time. LITTLE VAIN (1) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 5 ½f at Warwick. Outdashed but got home well and looks suited by the extra ground. One of the main contenders. ALL TOO ROSEY (11) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and finished third, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 6f at Sunshine Coast. In the right race and is one of the big hopes.
