ESPADA ROPERA (6) has perhaps the most upside of these. Got off the mark fresh at Ballina and then went to 6 ¾f last time at Ipswich and got home well for fifth without threatening. First try at this trip but fitter again and looks hard to hold out. TREASURER (3) has been racing well but is another having first try this journey. Was a 7f winner at Gatton two back then fourth in the latest in a small field at Eagle Farm. Best figures stack up in this line-up. GOOGAZ (1) has been freshened since racing over further last time. Has a great record at this circuit though and looks a strong chance to return to form. VACILLATION (4) ran on hard for a close-up third at Gatton last time. Yet to be proven this trip but looks a leading chance on the back of last run. CANADIAN EXPRESS (5) is on the quick back-up after finishing sixth over the weekend. Capable of better.
