SCOTTISH PEARL (5) raced on the speed but didn't quite find the line as hoped over 1 ?m at the Sunshine Coast last start. Went around over 1 ½m at Rosehill in November and was beaten under a length by Thebudgiesmugla. Has the class to test this field. WEONA REDWOOD (1) led all the way to win a BM60 over this course and distance two runs ago. Backed that up with a decent effort in a $100k race at Ipswich. Honest stayer who will be right there at the pointy end of proceedings. DEMARCAY (2) scored first-up over 1 ¼m then might have got to the 1 ?/16m at Ipswich a run too soon last time. Fitter now and ready to make an impact. CLASSIC DEEL (4) disappointed at the Sunshine Coast last start but it is worth noting she has three placings from six runs at this trip. Must be considered. PAPAL MISS (9) is a one-paced mare who will keep coming under the light weight.
