Verdict

SEQUEL (8) wasn't far away two back over this distance at Doomben then backed up seven days later and tired late over 6 ¾f at the same venue. Better placed back to this trip and the blinkers going on at the fourth run back suggests the stable is all in today. SNUGG (3) came from last at one stage to be beaten under a length when resuming over 5f at Dalby last time out. Lightly raced four-year-old who will get back again from a wide draw but is one to watch for late over the extra 1f. LEBANESE (6) went hard early and couldn't finish the race off when resuming over this course and distance 25 days ago. Scored second-up last prep over this trip at Ipswich. Likely improver. PRIVATE SHOWTIME (11) can bounce back off a two-month let-up. Beaten a whisker here at this trip two runs back which is a strong form reference. DUSHENKA (2) might be a big improver second-up with a host of gear changes.
