Verdict

A few of these are long overdue. Like the chances of WIMOWEH (6) while fresh. Was bursting to win before a break and looks ideally placed at the seven furlongs fresh-up on the back of a strong trial. Has placed 2/2 fresh and should be tough to beat if anywhere near best. EFFIE'S JOY (12) is a long-time maiden. Has the ability and the figures to take this but just can't seem to break through. Will find this easier though and has been given a let-up for the shorter trip and winds up strongly. Will just need some luck from wide out. PRINCE OF SYNERGY (8) is building to a win, finding one better in the last two starts. Backmarker who will be tough to stop. ZOUSLAYER (3) is a former Victorian who resumes from an 18-month spell. Had one start for the Waller yard and returns here with the blinkers added and in easier grade. Could well measure up and worth watching for a push. MOR KOMPASHYN (7) resumes off the inside and might want further but will be strong late.
