Verdict

DAYLITE (11) has been to the races twice and performed well on each occasion. Made late ground without threatening to wind up in fourth last start over 6f at Goulburn. Sure to prove tough to hold out over the extra 1f today. SAMOAN ROMAN (12) travelled midfield then battled on well to be beaten under two lengths on debut over this course and distance 20 days ago. Big chance to take this out with some natural improvement to come. MAGIC IRIS (9) caught the eye late when she got up for fourth when resuming over 6f here recently. Enjoys a soft run out of barrier one and should make her presence felt again. LITLFELA (2) made it four minor placings in a row when he just failed last start over the mile at Forbes. Probably better off back to 7f so he is one to consider. AVIGNON (5) is yet to fill a placing in seven starts but his close fourth at Forbes last time was a good sign.
