Leading apprentice rides and can put these away. BAYCAT (2) covered a stack of ground first-up and never looked comfortable on the tight track with a battling last over 5f at Queanbeyan. Placed here last prep and the senior rider goes aboard. Can return to form. CHEAP SHOT (9) kept fresh for his and his best form is over this trip. Will go back from the gate and be ridden for luck. ZAHDI (1) improved effort at latest when she chipped away late to run third here over 6f in BM66 class. Worth thought from the low draw.
