SPARE (2) Harry Angel four-year-old gelding from Reiby Regina on debut for the Jason Attard yard. Has been thereabouts in two trials and looks to have the ability to take this out. PACIFIC DIAMOND (10) did a fair job on debut in the heavy (9) going with a plugging sixth over 4 ½f at Newcastle. Fitter now and the extra trip suits with the claim. Each way. SMICHOV (1) resumes. Showed ability in his first campaign and gets map favours from the inside gate. Fitted with the two trials in a winnable race. GOLD FINGER (4) battled away late on debut when safely held to secure third over 5f at Dubbo. Gets the claim again and worth thought.
