Verdict

FARCOLO (3) is back after an 18-week spell. Opened last prep with a placing at Canberra then contested three stakes races and struggled at that level. Portelli comes here in search of a soft kill to launch this prep and he probably gets it. CELESTIAL GRACE (2) has been about the mark in her two runs this prep at provincial level, the latest an even fifth over 6 ½f at the Illawarra Grange circuit. Back in grade and enjoys a lovely run from the inside stall. Looks the obvious threat. MAYSUN (5) has not appeared since a moderate fifth on debut over 5f at Canberra in April. In good hands and should make progress this time in work. BOUJEE GOLD (7) battled on fairly without threatening when fresh from a spell over this distance at Goulburn recently. Open to plenty of improvement. MOROSINI (6) has switched from Bjorn Baker to Ciaron Maher and returns from a five-month spell. Raced just once and did a fair job at Gosford. Should give a good account.
