MAY THE FORCE (10) two runs back have been encouraging and gets the visors added today. Was a month between runs when a plugging fifth over 6 ½f at Scone. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. MISS MAVERICK (8) poorly drawn at her last four outings and finally comes up with a good marble here. Drifted back early and like the way she closed off when third over 5 ½f at Mudgee in the heavy going. Adept in all conditions and can race a touch closer today. Leading contender. AVIGNON (4) best effort in her eight career starts when she wound up strongly to secure third at this track and trip. Sticky gate here and stays in the mix. HARLEM TICKLE (6) seven weeks between runs when she dropped in trip for a battling fourth over 6f at Goulburn. Anywhere near her best could win this. LA CHAPARRON (7) claim helps again and is better placed over the extra trip.
