Verdict

HUBBLE'S DRAGON (7) continued his upward trajectory with a very strong performance in the Listed Magic Millions 3YO a fortnight ago, sticking on well to be 2L off the winner. He comes back in grade for this event and gets the services of Pike. Ticks plenty of boxes and can go one better here. KING HIT (11) has been a little plain his past couple but was in good order to start the campaign. The blinkers are applied now as he draws the inside with Steve Parnham on board. Right down in weight here and he can return to form. HEY PINO (5) flew home to win comfortably in easier grade at Pinjarra last start. That form may have been given a push earlier in the card and this looks to shape similarly. Can be flying home once again for Cooper. NOBLE CONNECTION (4) will be fitter for two trials coming in and boasts a fresh win to his name. Not to be discounted. MACCIATEAU (9) is next best.
