Verdict

SOUTHERN FIRETAIL (10) flew home from a mile back a fortnight ago when racing over the mile. He rates highly on his last two efforts and this presents as a great opportunity for him to go to another level. Pike hops back on board and he can return to winning ways. LILLIAN (4) finished off impressively when midfield in the run last start over 7 ½f. Out in trip now third-up into the campaign and she profiles well for a race of this calibre. Can go back-to-back. TRIPLE THE CHANT (1) couldn't finish off last start over the mile third-up when getting further back than expected. He didn't have the best of luck on straightening either and a better showing is anticipated. MY HARV (5) was too good last start in easier company and can feature in the finish again. WAR MATTERS (6) is looking for the hat-trick and has to be included.
