The 3YO's take centre stage now with SHERPA EXPRESS (2) the one to beat after an impressive performance first-up in the Placid Ark. He flew late from the rear of the field after jumping from out wide and looks well placed out to 7f now. Pike sticks with him in a good push for his chances and with improvement likely, he'll be hard to hold out. HOT AND HIGH (8) looks an exciting filly on the way up, bolting in by 3L in a NMW at the midweeks last time out. She should be handy in the run from a good draw and the rise to 7f doesn't look an issue. Right down in the weights now and appears the main danger. SNITZALATTE (6) bumped into a couple smart ones early in the prep before a 2.4L defeat in the Placid Ark. Out to 7f now should suit and she was strong from the front in the Sires as a 2YO. Can bounce back. MARDUSA (1) brings the right form into this and can go close back in trip. RIVA AQUARAMA (7) wasn't far away last start and has claims.
