Verdict

SHMOOV MOOVA (8) was caught wide off a freshen last start and stuck on well enough behind the impressive Smooth Chino. Blinkers go on now as does Pike, with the gelding dropping 5kgs today. Fitter for that effort and he can return to his best form in this event which will see him very hard to beat. ANGEL UNDERCOVER (4) sat up on the speed last start but capitulated and finished well back. Her win two back was very strong from off speed and suspect that's how she'll be ridden today. Nicely weighted after the claim of ZJP and she can bounce back. KAPTAIN KAOS (3) is racing in good order and has tackled some strong races in recent times, finishing 3.7L off Cosmic Crusader most recently. The inside draw should see him get every chance and it wouldn't surprise to see him end his winning drought. FLY WITH CAUTION (5) resumes from a long break without a trial but is a very nice horse in the making. Keep safe. SILVER EYE (6) is next best out to 7f.
