WESTERN LADY (5) couldn't have been more impressive last start when sitting handy and putting her rivals to the sword over 1 ?m last week. She's on the quick turnaround again today but she's raced well on the 7-day back-up previously. This shapes similarly and she can go on with the job. FAT ROY SLIM (1) will appreciate this much easier company today after tackling Listed races for the last three starts. Back to a more suitable level now and Pike hops back in the saddle. Wouldn't surprise to see him bounce back to winning ways. AUDIO BOY (3) stuck on well behind Western Lady last time out and he carries less weight today. Nottle's claim helps and he rarely runs a bad race. DEADLY AND FAST (2) was solid late at Albany last Sunday and the rise to 1 ½m doesn't look an issue. Can bring his recent form to town. ROYAL SPLENDOUR (7) is better than he showed last time out and can bounce back to form.
