Verdict

BLACK ORA (2) came from well back on the turn to score comfortably last time out over 5f at this track, and she has a terrific record at the distance with five wins from nine starts. She has to carry an extra 7lbs this time, but can repeat the dose. IMMORTAL BLISS (3) is a very promising gelding who made good progress last season. He resumes from a spell and is the choice of William Pike, who has chosen him over the top pick. Hard to beat. HAIDA GWAII (7) resumed with a narrow win over 5f here, making it three in a row, after putting together a brace of wins to end her last prep. This is tougher, but she looks hard to beat again over the same trip. KEEP ITA MYSTERY (4) finally cops a decent gate after finding it tough from a wide draw here 12 days ago over 6f. He is worth another chance here. ATLANTIC SPIRIT (8) finished eighth, but not far off the winner over 5f here last start. Include her in all combos to be safe.
