AMERICAN ESCAPE (8) was awkward into stride first-up but flew late over this track and trip a fortnight ago. She usually improves with a run under her belt and this looks to set up perfectly for her today. Pike remains in the saddle and she can return to winning ways second-up. HYMNS OF ELADDAIR (1) stuck on fairly behind a good winner last start over 7f and getting back to 6f today may hold the key. ZJP's claim comes in handy and he draws much better this time around. Can continue his strong run of form. BARTIME (6) comes through the same race as American Escape last start where he was only 1.2L off the winner. This looks to shape similarly and if he can run up to that performance again today, he'll go close to winning. DESERT DANCING (10) is over 6f first-up which creates interest with her 5f record. Keep safe. GOLD MAKER (4) is knocking on the door of a drought breaking win and is not to be discounted.
