AU - Ascot - Race 3

VAMPI QUEEN (5) has been drawing out recently, getting well back and rattling home, scoring as an odds-on pop most recently. CJP hops back aboard today from an inside barrier and there's no reason why she can't continue her winning ways. BILLIONAIRE'S ROW (4) stepped up to 1 ?m last start but didn't feature. Coming back to the mile now looks a good move and he looks to have plenty of upside still. Lyon replaces the apprentice hoop and a better effort is expected. JAVELIN STRIKE (3) couldn't bring up the hat-trick over this track and trip last start but he was in hot form prior. Fiore remains on board and he should get every chance in the run. Happy to overlook one poor effort and anticipate he can return to form. ACTA NON VERBA (7) is racing well without winning and has to be included. MASMELO (1) is likely to be better over further but she did enough on resumption to suggest she's in for a solid campaign.
