Verdict

MR KISSINGER (3) bounced back from a disappointing effort at Bunbury to just miss last start at this track and trip as the race favourite. He rates highly on that effort and if he gets a touch of luck from the barrier, he can return to winning ways. MISS VALMALENCO (2) won well two back at Belmont before a 3.4L defeat at Pinjarra most recently. Her form is hard to knock though and the claim of Nottle is a big tick. Draws much better today than she has in recent runs and she'll take catching. CAPORETTO (5) looks an improver today. Her recent form is just average, but that's all over 7f and his record at this track and trip is strong. Drawn well with Chris Parnham on board, it's easy to think he can bounce back to his best. LIPSTICK JUNGLE (4) will find this much easier and gets the blinkers on today. Not to be discounted. MASTERLY (1) never got into the race fresh but usually improves with a run under his belt. Drawn inside and won't be far away.
