Tricky 2YO race, but RUTHLESS ANGEL (1) goes on top after a strong debut performance. She ran over the top to score in good fashion at this track and trip and this looks to shape similarly. May get back in the run once again, but she can finish off strongly down the outside. STAR MARTINI (7) felt the pinch first-up when reeled in by Ruthless Angel. She set the tempo up front there and should be prominent from the good gate. Has plenty of upside and she'll be tough to run down. MORNING THUNDER (3) is on debut for the Luke Fernie stable on the back of a trial win at Belmont. Originally from VIC, the colt looks to have some ability and he can finish off strongly from beyond midfield. BISCUITS (9) showed good speed in her latest trial and the drop back in trip doesn't look an issue. Can make her presence felt. LONDON ROSE (6) is third-up here and can feature in the finish.
