The 3YO feature for the boys now and DOMINATUS (3) looks the one to beat off the impressive performance first-up in the Challenge. He flew home there from beyond midfield and the rise in trip looks ideal. Pike remains in the saddle, the form has already been franked and he should have some improvement to come. He's the one to beat. THE CRIMSON PIRATE (2) has shown glimpses throughout his career but finally broke his maiden last start in good fashion. That figure stacks up and this looks to shape similarly. No reason why he can't go on with the job now. ABERDEEN FLYER (4) was in the photo finish along with Dominatus in the Challenge Stakes when sitting on the speed throughout. He'll need some luck from the wide draw. but he'll be better again third-up now and he can make his presence felt. LINCHPIN (5) finished strongly last start in the Challenge and can't be left out. DARK AMBITION (6) finished in strong splits last start and creates some interest.
