Verdict

Time for The Quokka and REY MAGNERIO (3) gets the nod with a favourable set up in this. He flew home late in the William Reid under Pike when catching the eye. He's trialled since and comes here on the fresh side. Won the Gold Rush for Pike back in December and that figure stands out in this field. CABALLUS (2) was too good beating Joliestar in the Expressway before leading throughout in the Newmarket. Berry hops back aboard and he has enough speed to roll across from out wide. Nice trial since that run and he'll be in this for a very long way. JIGSAW (1) has become a brilliant horse, making it six wins in-a-row last start when winning the William Reid. He'll roll across from out wide and he's shown he can travel with ease. Wouldn't surprise to see him extend his winning run. SMOOTH CHINO (11) lost no admirers fresh and now gets Zahra on board. Fitter and can improve. MAGNIFICENT ANDY (4) always runs a strong race and was 4th in this last year. Worth including in multiples.
