Verdict

KATE'S TIARA (7) is racing consistently and was not far away in third at Grafton last start. She is going well without winning and has a good chance here to break her win drought. APACHE JACK (8) ran on nicely fresh up at Taree nearly 3 weeks ago, and drop 10lbs from that effort. He has the pole position, improves quickly second up, and can take this out. DEMARCATE (6) has been knocking on the door and looks ready to crack it after another solid effort at Mendooran, at their picnic meeting over 6f. He gets back to a suitable trip and can figure in the top 4 here. SOLAR BLAST (12) has been safely held at his past couple of starts, and has been freshened since his last run at Scone, but the booking of Ben Looker is a positive chance, so keep him very safe. DUNE AND DUSTED (1) is a competitive gelding at this level, and he has winning form on the track over the trip. Include in all top 4 combos to be safe.
