THIRTY DEGREES (4) is still a maiden after 12 starts but looks ready to crack it. He was runner-up 2 back and then wasn't beaten far over 6 ½f at Scone last time out. He is usually running on, and can get the job done in this modest field. RIDGEBACK (3) was heavily supported at a Mendooran picnic meeting last start but never threatened, finishing sixth. That circuit can be tricky for first-timers, and he deserves another chance. HIGHLAND DANCER (5) was beaten into sixth over 6f at Tamworth last time, but can improve in this company. She has enough ability to be competitive and looks a solid top 4 chance. DUSKAURA (9) made an encouraging debut when runner-up over 6 ¼f at Taree, and has been given plenty of time to mature after being put aside after that run. She is stronger now, and will be one of the hardest to hold out in this field. LULU A NATURAL (6) strips fitter second up, and will have the aid of the pole position here. The extra 2 ½f suits her, so keep her safe.
