Adept in all conditions and can race much closer today. Hard to hold out. STRATEGIC DEFENSE (12) best performance in some time when she ploughed through the heavy going to secure second over 1m at this track. All her form is at this track and looks ready to win in this suitable race. FORTE CHEVAL (1) trained locally and steps up to the 1m for the first time. Won well two-back, then went out early and folded up in the straight with a poor seventh over 7f at this track. No shock to see him bounce back. JUST LIKE LIAM (13) found winning form at this course and distance last start. Draws wider but can measure up again.
