Grizzlies vs. Lakers Game 5 Analysis

The Grizzlies were just 16-25 on the road during the regular season this year and had a much stronger 35-6 record when playing at home. Fortunately for them, they’ll get two more games in the series in Memphis.

Surprisingly, the only game the Grizzlies have taken so far in this series has been the game they played without Ja Morant, though the starter is averaging 27.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game in the series.

The Lakers endured a tumultuous regular season that saw them start 39 unique lineups in their 82 games. Their current lineup, however, has been highly successful for them, posting a 5-1 record in the regular season before helping them to a 3-1 series lead over the Grizzlies in the playoffs.

The key to their recent success has been having both Anthony Davis and LeBron James close to full health. They have played 114 minutes together in this series but just 887 in the regular season.
